Exclude folders from Cognos search

All folders in Cognos 11 are indexed by the cognos search by default. So the consumers also get the search results from the internal folder of the report developers.
1) It would be helpful to exclude these internal folders from the cognos search, so that the user does not get the internal hits.
2) It would also be helpful to allow a search from a certain folder downstream like in Cognos 11.2.2

Hi, we really do use different folders for our customer base with all their reports, dashboards etc and would like other folders used by our BI function to be hidden

Did you mean Cognos 10.2.2?  I don't think Cognos 11.2.2 has been released yet.
