Cognos Analytics Word Cloud to break sentences into words

We often want to use a free format data entry field to build a word cloud. For example if I had four rows of data that looked like:

"Went to a meeting by car"
"Attended a meeting"
"Pool Car"
"Flight to internal meeting"

And I created a word cloud I would want "Meeting" to be the biggest word, followed by "Car".

The current word cloud visualisation doesn't split a sentence up into words. It just see these 4 things as 4 individual strings with nothing in common. The visualisation would just show the 4 whole sentences, all of equal size. It wouldn't show that Meeting is the most often used word.

The only solution offered by cognos is for some data preparation to split all the sentences up into individual words, all on their own row. Whilst this may be doable with some complex ETL it would be impossible for a typical user uploading their own data source.

The word cloud visualisation should have an option to either show words or sentences.

In order for Cognos to show a word cloud of the above data the user would have to change the data to:

"Went"
"to"
"a"
"meeting"
"by"
"car"
"Attended"
"a"
"meeting"
"Pool"
"Car"
"Flight"
"to"
"internal"
"meeting"
