DISABLE DEFAULT REPORT AUTHORING TEMPLATES

We use Cognos in such a way that we need to restrict users from creating Active Reports. When you create a New Report, the first screen that displays prompts you to choose a template: Blank report or blank active report. There is no way to disable/hide blank active report. You can filter which you want to see but no way to remove it.

    Customers now able to modify the default blank and default blank active report templates by creating custom templates and name them as Blank and Blank active report. These will replace the out of the default blank ones.

    This was delivered in 11.1.4 version.
