Filter using comparison with Unicode character field

The handling of multibyte character set data has changed with V11.3.3 and some features which worked fine with V6.1 are no longer working correctly. In the present case the customer has row filtering based on a comparison of a column with a string literal (e.g. DIV='PQR'). The column is a graphic data type with Unicode data. This filter expression no longer works as expected as no rows are selected. The only way to get the filtering to work (as it did with CDC 6.1) is to use a user exit in the row expression. The engine should be enhanced so that a simple comparison of Unicode data with a string literal works as expected
