Today more and more customers in France wants to implement encryption for the data's replicated by CDC. Especially for Bank/Insurances/Telecom

    This feature is needed at our company to be able to use CDC for IBM i. In our PoC data is sent unencrypted.

    At Bac Credomatic we need to implement TLS in cdc for i series data in transit to comply with security regulations. Could IBM tell us which release they might be natively supporting TLS ?

    CDC-I-111 is marked as "delivered" but CDC support for TLS with IBM i is still lacking so this idea still needs to be voted for...

    TLS coverage was delivered for all other CDC platforms. This enhancement will be added to our roadmap to ensure that we track the delivery of iSeries, the final platform to complete CDC support.

    Correction, this is the specific item for IBM i TLS and should remain.

    Whereas the general case of TLS for a wide variety of CDC platforms is already implemented as :
