Sub should not go down if new col added at the end is not part of subscription

We have subscription from ORACLE to KAFKA and we are replicating few columns of the table. If new columns are added or dropped or alter at the end of row and those columns were not part of sub, than sub should not be remapped and once datasource/instance is up it should start replicating.

Hypothetical ex. If I am replicating col1,6,7,9,10 and there is DDL  change from col 11 than I should not have to remap and when datasource is up, sub should come up as there is not change from my replication data.

    Engineering is designing an approach. Once the design is complete we will update the planned delivery date.

    We need this desperately or we will have to discard CDC/IIDR , reason being SOURCE team doesn't inform TARGET team about DDL changes and when we find error its too late, only option left is to refresh complete TABLE data, as data is growing day by day it becomes difficult to fresh and hurt target system.

    There is an existing epic in our roadmap planning for this already. That said, this item has not been scheduled into a planned release at this time. It is being considered as we plan content for each quarterly update.
