Although not reliable, ROWID is in some cases the only way to obtain the row identity. Being able to get the ROWID values would help to integrate the data in that cases.
The actual values of ROWID are available on Refresh, and should be available when reading the log records as well.
ROWID is not a primary key, it is an internal storage location of the row and can change when Oracle performs maintenance on a table. It is not a reliable way of guaranteeing data integrity.
