EndOnError, ONDecompressionError, and onutilityaction parameters in remote source

In the CDC Replication Engine for Db2® for z/OS® Remote Source , some of the native cdc for z/OS parameters cannot be used yet. We know the following parameters are in development.

• EndOnError parameter till the end of 2021 Q1

• ONDecompressionError parameter in the 2021 Q1

• userexit usage in onutilityaction parameter in 2021 Q1

Before we migrate from the native cdc to the cdc remote source, we need these parameters ASAP. Without them, we cannot migrate to the remote source yet.

    IBM Update.

    Thanks for filing this requirement. We think that the requests are valid and are either already addressed or are on our roadmap:

    EndOnError: After review, we think that relevant capabilities already exist in our “Java” engines: CDC has the properties mirror_end_on_error and refresh_end_on_error. The default for both is true. If false, CDC will continue on error. Please review the documentation and if necessary, contact support for assistance.

    onutilityaction parameter: This requirement has recently been addressed. Please see: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1110477 for more details
