Multiple Kafka clusters updated from a single replication stream

We are looking to update multiple kafka clusters using a single subscription.

Currently one subscription supports only one kafka cluster as a target. To update same data into another kafka clusters , we would need to create one more subscription having another datastore pointing to another kafka clusters. Because of this due to additonal subscription , MIPS cost at DB2 side and performance is also getting impacted as same data has to capture again and travel over the network. This is very important and critical so looking for a support from IBM to add this in their future road map. This is very important.

We have high priority use cases are in pipeline and they are looking for this support ASAP.

    Hi, Any update on this. We are desperately looking for this. We may loose IBM CDC if this will not happen shortly.

    Hi , I have got the email that it is added as roadmap of Q1/Q2'22. Many thanks for consideration.

    It's better if you can look to complete by Q1'22 so that we can use make best use of it as we are planning to migrate use cases from starting Q2'22 onwards.
