This is a request for CDC/IIDR to provide an augmented timestamp, using an ordinal/sequence number on top of the Db2 LUW second granularity....to give better ordering for JMS targets.

FedEx initially benefits but later on all companies doing replication from mainframe platform to LUW. CDC/IIDR retrieves timestamps (via @timstamp) from the source DBMS. When the source is Db2/z, for instance , we return their timestamp which is to the millisecond. When the source is Db2 LUW (all variants), we return their timestamp which is only to the granularity of a second. It isn't a case where CDC/IIDR does not support timestamps at a millisecond level This is a request for CDC/IIDR to provide an augmented timestamp, using an ordinal/sequence number on top of the Db2 LUW second granularity....to give better ordering for JMS target from a db2 LUW source. It won't affect our other sources
