CDC – CHCCLP – Option to print the “monitor replication” as comma separated report
A option to print reports in comma delimited format.
For example: the “monitor replication” prints a formatted report, but would like to receive the report in comma delimited format.
Then we can parse the output and reformat and print only the column we want.
The formatted reports are not easy to parse.
The column width could differ in length by datastore, length of data in column, and if columns contain data or not.
Example: (current output)
SUBSCRIPTION STATE SCHEDULED END LATENCY SOURCE DATASTORE TARGET DATASTORE
---------------- ------------------- ---------------- ---------------- ------------------ -----------------
SUB1 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS TARGET_DS
SUB2 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS TARGET_DS
SUB3 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS TARGET_DS
Proposed output:
SUBSCRIPTION,STATE,SCHEDULED END,LATENCY,SOURCE DATASTORE,TARGET DATASTORE
SUB1,Mirror Continuous,,,SOURCE_DS,TARGET_DS
SUB2,Mirror Continuous,,,SOURCE_DS,TARGET_DS
SUB3,Mirror Continuous,,,SOURCE_DS, TARGET_DS
The formatted reports are not easy to parse. The column width could differ in length by datastore name, length of data in column, and if columns contain data or not.
For example:
SUBSCRIPTION STATE SCHEDULED END LATENCY SOURCE DATASTORE TARGET DATASTORE
---------------- ------------------- ---------------- ---------------- ------------------ ----------------------------------------
SUBA1 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS1 External (long_cloud.server.name@7001)
-
SUBSCRIPTION STATE SCHEDULED END LATENCY SOURCE DATASTORE TARGET DATASTORE
---------------- ------------------- ------------------------------ ---------------- ------------------ --------------------------
SUBB1 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS2 External (long_cloud.server.name@7003
SUBB2 Inactive Thu Oct 12 22:50:00 EDT 2023 SOURCE_DS2 TARGET_DS2
SUBB3 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS3 External (long_cloud.server.name@7004
SUBB4 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS4 External (long_cloud.server.name@7005
-
SUBSCRIPTION STATE SCHEDULED END LATENCY SOURCE DATASTORE TARGET DATASTORE
---------------- ------------------- ---------------- ---------------- ------------------ ----------------------------------------
SUBC1 Mirror Continuous SOURCE_DS3 External (long_cloud.server.name@7001)
