CDC statistics tables or files needed for continuous monitoring

Currently CDC does not write continuous statistic out to a table or file or other.

It is only possible to issue a query to get this information in a report format.

But a report is not a solution for continues monitoring or getting an historical view on the workload/KPIs from CDC.

There should be the option to turn statistics output on and schedule the writing every x minutes into a table (if the source is a RDB as our Db2 z/OS) or file. A sequential file can contain record by record in a csv format.

The metrics in a row/record should only contain the sums of the interval.

One option could be to enable read access to the statistics and status tables (or views) of the internal database and document this interface.
