IBM CDC Subscription Subscription Status Issue

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Issue Details:

When running the following command:

dmgetsubscriptionstatus -I MYINSTANCE -p -A

we are not receiving the proper response.

According to IBM documentation, this command should return one of the following statuses:

Recovering – Subscription is in an undetermined state.

Idle – Subscription is not running.

Starting – Subscription is in startup mode and not replicating data.

Running – Subscription is running and replicating data.

When the subscriptions are "Inactive" or "Failed", it shows "Idle" which is not correct.

It would be helpful if the correct status of the subscription is returned by the command enabling us to perform actions on those subscriptions.

Impact:

Since we are unable to determine the actual subscription state (e.g., Mirroring, Refresh, Inactive, Failed, or Others), we cannot create a proper monitoring script for production business needs.
