Improved documentation of how to set up and use CP4D built-in monitoring #cpfield

Documentation of how to set up monitoring is inconsistent and not sufficient. The steps are not easy to follow. It is not clear what hostnames should be used in the different steps. The url is incorrect in some steps. Docs claim that 'https:///authorize' should be used, but it doesn't work. 'https:///icp4d-api/v1/authorize' works. https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-data/4.5.x?topic=2-monitoring-platform https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-data/4.5.x?topic=resources-alerting-apis

    Hi Mattias,

We're sorry to hear about documentation not being easy to follow. We have an updated version of the documentation for CP4D v4.6 which was released last November, this may make it clearer: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-data/4.6.x?topic=platform-monitoring-alerting#monitoring-and-alerting__configure-slack

If there are still issues with setting up monitoring, please let us know and we will investigate further and work on improving our documentation.
