In order to configure the CA for a self-hosted Git server in R Studio, the CAs needs to be added through the Git integration token in the UI. Even though this works, it is counter intuitive: The Git integration token is created per user, but the added CA in this step is added for all users. See case TS005121698 for more details.
The CAs for syncing with Git in JupyterLab and CPD platform level is configured in a different place
