Db2 type connection to support user specific connection hook parameters
Our Db2 database requires additional user specific parameters for a connection. Format: jdbc:db2://<<server>>:<<port>>/<<database>>:clientApplicationInformation=<<xxxxx>>;clientAccountingInformation=<<yyyyy>>;clientUser=<<userid>>;
The current dialog for the creation of a Db2 type connection allows only to enter 3 connection details: database, hostname, port. It should get enhanced by an additional detail: "user specific parameters"
This additional parameter must be treated like the personal credential settings (user name and password), so users can collaborate in a project using one db connection defined, but with personal user, password and user specific parameters.
Using a Generic JDBC type connection is not an option. That supports a JDBC connection URL with additional parameters. But users won't be able to use one db connection defined in a project. And that type does not support SQL pushback optimization in SPSS.
