Desjardins has a data scientist team and they would like to customize Spark images for various data scientist.

Hi @sshukla , Today I attended a customer call where there is a question regarding customization of Spark Notebooks. As per the documentation https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/cloud-paks/cp-data/4.6.x?topic=environments-creating I think CPD 4.6.x can't allow customize software configuration for Spark Notebooks and also we can't create custom images for Spark Notebooks. Any suggestion whether it's possible to customize Spark Notebooks for software configuration or create custom images for Spark Notebooks? Are there any plans to support this feature in Spark Notebooks? I appreciate any help to clarify this customer question. @MADHUSUDAN K J

We don’t have any plan to support custom image for now, can you please create Aha epic for this feature request.

    Hi, The same applies for Cloud Pak for Data users those having need to customize Watson Studio images (Spark environment) to add custom libraries. User who requires to utilize Spark environment but looking for customization has no way forward.
