It is requested to enhance the functionaliy of the API calls described below to allow the creation / Patching of data quality scores.
PATCH /data_quality/v4/assets/{id}
As of today, it can only patch the name or the weight, no scores
POST /data_quality/v4/assets
As of today a "DataQualityAssetPrototype" is created which does not allow scores.
The customer wants to use Cloud Pak for Data / IKC as the central repository for everything related with Data Governance / AI Governance and Data Marketplace. That includes a number of assets for which they don't have a connection to the sources. The owners of those assets would be fine to provide the metadata but will never allow a direct access. We already had the conversation with the customer and they say that getting a csv file with scores is a matter of hours but getting a one-time punctual access is a matter of months. They successfully created "fake" assets and they are happy... with the exception of the scores, for which we found no solution or circumvention.

Hi Angel, We cannot provide a PATCH score API, because the score is always the result of aggregating the issues scores, DQ dimension scores, etc… That would break the principles and if we did that the patched score would be overwritten at the slightest change.
Instead of that:
Use the API to create a single issue with a score for that asset. That issue can be patched/updated
If it is the single issue on that asset, the score of that issue will automatically be the score of the asset.
