assign service id within a catalog as a collaborator

See this idea on ideas.ibm.com

Customer is using IKC as service based on CP4D Saas (FRA, Europe). At the moment you cannot use / assign a service id within a catalog in IKC as “collaborator”. Customer uses the term “collaborator” as a synonym for technical user. Having the possibility to assign a service id within a catalog as a “collaborator” would allow the customer to make changes to data assets in catalog via API online. No personal user should be used for such kind of interaction with the IKC service.

Hi Susanna - thanks for your update. Could you provide us an example on how to handle the API you are refering to? Thanks.

Hi Josef, thank you for submitting the Aha Id. You can assign service id as collaborator to a catalog via API today. But I've accepted this enhancement request to enable this via the Catalog UI as well for our roadmap in the next 12 months.

    Regards,
