Service permissions

In the past we had different User Groups using a tool. for Example one group was using datastage and another one the knowledge catalog. It was easy to say if someone is allowed to use a toolstack, because you just need to give them a permission. Either datastage or knowledge catalog.

At the moment this is not possible. You need to permit and restrict very granularily on a function level, what is very time consuming. You also need to know every function in detail.

For example: We have one team (data engineers) using datastage. There should be no one else except them be able to use datastage service and to create assets belonging to this service. This service permission should be on top of the existing permissions and enable them to use all datastage assets based on their permissions.

This should be a very simple solution for the problem.

Currently as far as I know, there is no way to restrict this.
