Discovery | Requirement to make a Field Non-Searchable + Returned as part of any Search Query

We are currently performing a Migration activity for Verizon (WEX to Discovery).

In Watson Explorer, we have a concept of "weights" for fields. For example, a weight of (-1) makes a particular field Non-Searchable. Further, even if a field is "Non-Searchable", it still gets returned as part of Search Query.

Example from WEX:

    <xsl:attribute name="COURSE_NAME">
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:value-of select="./content[@name='COURSE_NAME']/text()" />
    </content>

    <content name="COURSE_CODE" weight="-1">
      <xsl:attribute name="acl">
      </xsl:attribute>
      <xsl:value-of select="./content[@name='COURSE_CODE']/text()" />
    </content>

Having such a feature in Discovery would enable Client Scenarios wherein a field is required to be marked "Non-Searchable", but is still needed as part of Search Query Results (for example - to display in Application UI as part of complete document information.)
