Workflow Enhancements

  • From the task status page, being able to search off of the name of the task title. Our administrators sometimes get asked what tasks may still be open for a particular governance artifact and it is difficult to find since we cannot search on the task title.
  • From the task status page, being able to display more tasks per page
  • Under workflow configurations, there is a cap to how many workflow conditions you can have. If you go over the cap, you cannot save the workflow configuration. The cap is around 70-80 currently. Need that cap removed so we can save workflows applicable to a broad set of categories and artifact types and events.
  • For workflow tasks that are voting on approval based on a percentage of votes, need a way on the governance artifact to see who has voted so far and what their vote was, who still needs to vote, and what percentage it is currently at and how many votes are still needed to meet the percentage threshold. It is hard to track down who may be holding up an approval task without seeing who has and hasn't voted from directly within the governance artifact.

    There are multiple enhancement requests mentioned here that are all being handled separately.

    DONE:

    • Display more tasks per page in the task inbox. We increased the max number of items per page and this is now available in the latest version of the product.

    IN PROGRESS:

    • Workflow configuration page simplification. We are introducing multiple enhancements to the workflow configurations UI that will group the number of separate configuration line items. This enhancement is targeted for end of year 2025

    • Task status monitoring. We are introducing an enhancement to the task inbox that will give users more detail into tasks that have been completed and open tasks that are preventing a request from moving on. This enhancement is targeted for end of year 2025.

    Under consideration:

    • Search on task title name. We do not yet have a date for this enhancement
