RELATED IDEAS

An API or functionality to duplicate a discovery collection

As per the current design, Watson Discovery does not support duplication of existing collection (reference). It would be nice if we have a way to accomplish it.
Please Note : User tried the option of Reuse Data from collection but that creates another collection with shared data. Intention is to make a clone / duplicate of existing collection (no shared data).

    Hi Team,

    We are working with Verizon for WEX to Discovery Migration Project. As part of this engagement, client has requested this feature so that they can debug collections in Live Production Environment.

    Creating a new collection from scratch to duplicate it (manual process to maintain a copy of collection) would be very difficult in Live Production Environment. For example, to debug any issue in live production collection, we would like to "clone" the exact data in it and debug that clone (instead of debugging a new collection which was created after new crawl). Hence this feature request.
