Give priority in the general search for assets that have a certain tag

Hello!

In the world of data, we're constantly migrating from one technology to another, from one architecture to another. In other words, we're constantly changing to align with the company's data strategy.

One of the most challenging aspects of this type of change is ensuring and encouraging data users to create new things and use what's in line with the new standards.

We understand that the data catalog plays a fundamental role in this encouragement, always suggesting alternatives in the new format to the legacy format.

Therefore, we'd like to propose a feature that prioritizes and promotes certain data assets in general searches.

For example, we'd like to prioritize responses tagged "Data Product" or "Master Data" in the data catalog search so that when users are searching for data, the first response that appears will prompt them to use the data architecture appropriately.

As a UI for this feature, we suggest creating a "Search Customization" page that allows you to specify tags that would be favored by IKC's internal search engines.

    Thank you for the feedback. Could you please clarify which search experience you’re referring to? Are you referring to the global search bar at the top of the page, or to the search functionality within a specific Catalog? We’d like to confirm what you mean by “general search” to ensure we’re aligned on the request.
