OIDC login redirect should be handled rather than producing HTTP 404 errors

When we use SSO to login with Cloud Pak for Data (software on openshift), we notice that the initial login is very often failing with "404 File not found". If we then browse the hostname again, the CPD UI will then load. The issue stems from the fact that the base URL will automatically redirect to /oidc/login.jsp and users will try to add a bookmark which is then including OIDC url path. When users use the bookmark later, CPD will fail because the base URL is not used and only after fully entering all login details will CPD fail with 404 File not found.

This issue should fixed so any dependencies of the base URL are checked and handled immediately in the OIDC url path rather than let users go through the full sign on process only to later get the 404 error.

It is not acceptable to send special handling instructions to all Enterprise team members and Client users and inform them not to bookmark a URL which is automatically provided to them by the software.
