Security Settings for Services based on User Groups and/or LDAP

Administering users can be quite hard when every single user must be set manually. Especially in large environments. In CP4D user groups can not be used to control access to services like Cognos, PA, Discovery and so on.

It would be lot easier, if user groups created in CP4D administration could be used to control access to these services. The next level would be, of it would be possible to maintain this information in LDAP and configure CP4D to read this information.

    Hi Marc,

Thank you for this idea -- I see how this would be useful.

Can you identify which services (that are missing user groups) we should prioritize getting this functionality into?
