Evolve Data Refinement to more advanced capabilities

To make Data Refinement more attractive to Data Scientists, more advanced capabilities should be available, like some of the features available in AutoAI today, but still with the opportunity to build models manually. Like Train/Test Split, Encoding, Scaling. Things that can be done in Python with a single line.

    Hi Marc - Starting in CPD 4.0, SPSS Modeler capabilities will now be in the Base of CPD, so there will be no longer a price premium. Given this new packaging/pricing change, our strategy will be to encourage users to use SPSS Modeler for more advanced data prep and model building all without coding. So I am going to label this as 'functionality already exists' but using SPSS Modeler instead of Data Refinery. If you feel strongly that is incorrect, please do let us know.

    Thanks for the comment. I know about the functions in SPSS modeler, but since other functionality already present in Modeler has been built into Data Refinery, I thought why not include some of the most wanted also? This would absolutely increase the value (and hopefully the usage) of Data Refinery. Not many customers would invest in SPSS modeler, but like powerful Data Refinery capabilities.

    Thanks for your feedback. It seems like the capabilities you are asking for are already present in SPSS Modeler in Cloud Pak for Data.
