Shape the future of IBM!
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Post your ideas
Post ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted and upvote them if they matter to you,
Post an idea
Upvote ideas that matter most to you
Get feedback from the IBM team to refine your idea
Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests
The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.
Receive notification on the decision
Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

I need cplex for newer version of matlab, not just from 2019a and before
I agree, this was bad news. Many people call CPLEX via Matlab.
Hello,
I cannot understand the logic of removing the CPLEX connector for MAtlab, but I think it is a very bad idea. Mant MATLAB users (including myself) are considering moving to a different solver (Gurobi mainly). Please, do not lose a very loyal user base on the grounds of a very bad thought change.
Please bring the CPLEX connector for Matlab back!
Not only that CPLEX is very useful for some Matpower problems, but a lot of Matpower users employ Matpower as interface to solve optimization problems with the idea of easly change between solvers, so CPLEX will be relegated in many areas.
Matlab is interfacing with many solvers/programs, if CPLEX - MATLAB interface is not to be brought back, CPLEX will stay below some other packages.
I agree, as the developer of MATPOWER, a widely used Matlab-language only power system simulation package, I am unable to support CPLEX as an optimal power flow solver without a MATLAB interface to CPLEX.
If the MATLAB interface is not to be brought back, why not release the existing source code to an open source project that could maintain the interface? There are many existing projects that rely on the matlab interface to cplex, e.g., https://opencobra.github.io/cobratoolbox/stable/
