This portal is to open public enhancement requests against products and services offered by the IBM Data & AI organization. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).

"If and only if" for indicator-constraints in MATLAB API
We use the CPLEX for MATLAB API to solve a MILP. In our case the bottleneck of the API is the limited functionality of indicator constraints. Whereas in OPL and the Java API an "if and only if" statement is possible, this functionality is missing in MATLAB.
Java and OPL offers both options: z = 0 -> x == 0 (in case x != 0 => z=0 or z=1) z = 0 <-> x == 0 (in case x != 0 => z=1) MATLAB only one direction: z = 0 -> x == 0 (in case x != 0 => z=0 or z=1)
It would be helpful to have the <-> operator also available in the MATLAB API.
When I try to import such a model through the MATLAB API, I get the error 'CPLEX encountered unsupported indicator constraints in a model file'
