Improve Manta's PowerExchange file reader scanner's lineage by showing the source and target file system

Issue
When Manta is used to scan the PowerExchange (PWX) file reader in Informatica PowerCenter, it successfully parses the PWX component. However, it does not display the actual source and target files based on the information available in the workflow. Specifically:

Source: Mainframe dataset

Target: TGT files

Why is this useful?
Displaying the actual source and target files in the lineage is critical for providing meaningful end-to-end data lineage. Without this visibility, leadership teams cannot gain a complete understanding of how data flows into and out of PWX. Showing these details will help both governance and executive stakeholders clearly see cross-system data movement.

Who benefits?

Data Governance team

Downstream and upstream teams relying on accurate lineage

Any customer using PWX with similar needs

How should it work?
The PowerExchange file reader should be enhanced so that Manta can:

Parse and identify both source and target file information from the workflow.

Display this information in the Data Flow Viewer.

Show clearly how data moves from the mainframe dataset (source) to the target files (TGT).

IMPACT

1) Manta Flow Viewer does not show actual file system.

2) Without the source representation, lineage cannot be exported to Alation

Another related Case number TS020120699 for ODBC type PowerExchange connectors. These show the datamap name in the Manta Flow Viewer instead of the actual source it connects to.

    How should it work?

Retrieve the actual data source that the datamap represents from .dmp files and show in the Manta Flow Viewer
