Support lineage deletion in Open Manta Designer

Currently, Open Manta Designer does not provide functionality to delete lineage that was generated using the native Manta scanner. This creates challenges in managing and maintaining lineage data, especially when test or obsolete lineage needs to be removed.

Business Impact:

  • Inability to clean up unwanted edges leads to clutter and confusion.
  • Makes it difficult to maintain accurate, production-ready lineage views.
  • Increases manual effort and risk of error when working with lineage data

Propose Enhancements:

Introduce a feature that allows administrators or authorized users to delete parts of lineage that originated from the native Manta scanner.

This should include:

  • Ablity to select and delete specific lineage.
  • Option to bulk removeal of outdated lineage edges.

Adding one scenario where this may be needed. When manta scans some IFPC workflows that use PowerExchange to read data from Files or DB2, it shows "ODBC" as a node. You can use OMD to add the file, but you cannot remove "ODBC" node.
