Enable “Export All Workflows/Connections” for Read‑Only Roles

Background

Users with read‑only roles in Key cloak—specifically ROLE_PROCESS_MANAGER_READ and ROLE_CONFIGURATOR_READ—are currently able to view workflows, view connections, and export individual workflow or connection definitions.
However, these users cannot see or access the “Export All Workflows” and “Export All Connections” options.
These bulk‑export buttons only appear when write‑level roles (ROLE_PROCESS_MANAGER_WRITE or ROLE_CONFIGURATOR_WRITE) are assigned.
Those write roles cannot be granted because they also permit modifying, deleting, or editing configurations, which violates read‑only governance requirements.

Impact

Read‑only users who must perform audit, reporting, or migration‑related tasks cannot export all workflows/connections at once.
Teams must manually export items one by one, increasing operational effort and time.
Operational workflows depending on read‑only audit roles are blocked due to this limitation.
Write privileges cannot be granted due to compliance and security restrictions, preventing a workaround.


Expected Outcome
A capability or enhancement allowing read‑only users (with ROLE_PROCESS_MANAGER_READ or ROLE_CONFIGURATOR_READ) to:

See “Export All Workflows”
See “Export All Connections”
Perform these bulk export actions without requiring write‑level privileges
This would align with the already‑permitted ability to export individual items and maintain a secure read‑only access model.
