Hi Dev,
the functionality was designed with local filesystems brought in through Manta by other scanners as well. For the export to work, you need to provide a mapping for the filesystem. In your PowerCenter example, you already have an existing mapping for PowerCenter itself, to leverage the export of filesystems you need to add a mapping for the filesystem under PowerCenter too - see this section of documentation https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/manta-data-lineage?topic=mfea-manta-flow-alation-automatic-data-lineage-alation-resource-mapping#filesystem-resource-mapping-config . Please locate the filesystem node under PowerCenter in Manta Repository page, copy it's path and use it as "Filesystem path" in this mapping.
Happy to assist with this on a call if needed.
Best Regards

IBM Manta Data Lineage product team
@jakub, we evaluated the solution present in 42.12 and it seems insufficient. Alation only supports filesystems of type: s3, hdfs, azure. However when Manta scans informatica powercenter, the lineage shows up local filesystems as well, such as NFS.
The current system doesnt seem to support exporting local or NFS filesystems to Alation via EXT objects.
Message recived from IBM: Expected to be implemented in version 42.12
This seems to be under review for many days now. Do you have any progress to share here?
