Support for additional Flow Models using OpenManta Extensions in Informatica EDC exports

Informatica EDC exports for OpenManta Extension connections only supports Custom ETL and Custom Reports flow models.

This becomes an issue if the customer is modelling file-based integrations on the customer's internal systems using OpenManta Extensions and the Filesystem model, or if the customer is modelling transformations for, for instance, DB2 or ORACLE or other flow model supported by Manta (and exportable to IEDC) using OpenManta Extensions for systems that are currently not (yet) being scanned, since IEDC exports are dictionary-based and for OpenManta Extension connections there is only support for Custom ETL and Custom Reports flow models.

So the idea here would be to expand the range of supported flow-models that can be exported to IEDC for OpenManta Extensions connections, namely, include the following models in said exports:

  • Filesystem
  • Oracle
  • MSSQL
  • Postgres
  • DB2
  • Hive
  • Netezza
