Power9 zlib accelerator for backup and log file compression

Db2 supports NX842 accelerator on AIX. This has some limitation like restoring of such an backup image is only possible on AIX and cannot be combined with AME and AMS and also requires a license key to enable it.
Compression and decompression in software is slow and CPU intense and cannot therefore be applied. The additional required CPU resources required for SW compression, while online backups and log file archiving slow down the normal user workload.

In case of encrypted database and encrypted backup, it is essential that Db2 provides the compression as only the decrypted data can be compressed. Compressing already encrypted backup images and log files don't gain anything in terms of compression rate.
