Hi - While using DMC we noticed that its very much resource intensive since it monitor a lot of different metrics in database.
There should be an option where we can use it for different monitoring levels like basic, avg or in-depth depends upon database criticality and available database resources. These levels can have predefined set of metrics or it will be great if we can have filter on all available metrics and DBA can choose which all should be monitored out of the complete list.
This will make this tool very useful and resource friendly. I am using Db2 from last 15 years but never had a good monitoring solution and always had to use diff BMC or other vendor costly tools.
Thanks

I view this request as providing a similar capability and control that DBAs had with configuring database monitor switches as ON or OFF in the database manager (e.g. bufferpool, lock, sort, statement, table, unit of work).
