Please provide account creation, deletion, and the timestamp when a particular account was granted auth (system/db/schema level) and privileges on an object.
db2luw is branded as an insecure DBMS every time in a security certification audit because account creation and deletion is not done within the DBMS and relies on the OS, but the OS also does not store such records (in fact, it is not even a DB2 account because it is a regular account until it is granted).
Examiners also ask for PRIVs for objects in the account, which is not easy to verify by extracting a year's worth of audit data from dozens of DBMSs.
I would like to see the time of last grant, grantor, grantee, object, priv, and auth recorded.
For priv, it would be nice to see it in SYSIBMADM.PRIVILEGES.
Due to these problems, even the C-level (CFO, CDO) is now asking why we should use a DBMS that is difficult to pass the certification examination when the licence fee is not small.
Please help us to use db2luw for our main DB.
