IBM Database Management Console Migration

Hi All,

We have learned that the IBM DMC(Database Management Console) doesn't have any inbuilt migration opportunities presented by itself. The migration that involves moving DMC from one host to another with minimal downtime and configuration settings.

As an example, lets say we have our DMC installed on an EOL Operating system that cannot be upgraded to the latest version and only option we have is to build a new host VM to remediate the EOL.

In this case since the current IBM DMC products or its functionality doesn't support an easy way of migration of setup and configuration of DMC from one host to another. Only option we have right now is to install the DMC and congifure everything including creating monitoring profiles or adding all the connection details to the monitoring.

This approach is very complicated and time consuming so would like to propose this as an idea to have migration feature enabled between DMC versions or within the same version and between the hosts.
