In IBM Cloud, we can use DB2 not only via JDBC/ODBC but also via REST API(HTTP API):
https://cloud.ibm.com/apidocs/db2-on-cloud/db2-on-cloud-v4
This is unique and nice feature. This could be a reason to choose DB2( than MySQL or PostgreSQL, .. ). But unfortunately, I can't control CORS settings for this REST API currently(confirmed in Support Case : #CS4102678). So we can NOT use those REST API in Web Browser's JavaScript currently.
That would be nice and convenient if user can control CORS settings so that user can access DB2 with frontend JavaScript.
