Statements Event Monitor should include UOW (transaction commit) to give similar capability as a db2 z/os trace

When trying to diagnose an online transaction problem, I could not find a way of tracing the transaction with an Event Monitor to include the implicit commits of the XA Transaction (XA-PREPARE, XA-END). I raised ticket a ticket with IBM (mentioned raising this design change) but we did not find a solution. Tracing a transaction in db2 for Z/os (sql statements plus commit points) is a BAU process.

Currently a UOW Event Monitor can be run to give limited package level information, but at a whole database level.

A) this is not that detailed and B) more importantly cannot be restricted by say appl_id - so potentially very expensive to run.

The only way I can sort of achieve this at the moment is to run a uow event monitor AND a statement event monitor at the same time (writing to tables) and then outer joining the output tables together (see uploaded screen shot to try to explain what I mean).
