Reduce DSNB555I messages

Hi, this idea is related case TS020701291 - Excessive number of DSNB555I messages.

We are working for improve performance on DB2 applications and a important point is BufferPools with AUTOSIZE(Y) and PGFIX(Y), but we found that every WLM action send a lot of repetitive information DSNB555I messages to WTO.

We consider the number and timing of ALTER BP commands sent by WLM are correct, its policies are adequate, meeting the expected performance targets.

Can you help to reduce the number of messages?

    Dear Adolfo,

    Thank you for submitting this Db2 for z/OS enhancement request.
    After giving the request a comprehensive review, we have determined that we cannot include it as a candidate in an upcoming product deliverable because it is not consistent with the product direction. Consequently, we will not be implementing this request.
     
    We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. We also hope that you will continue to submit ideas for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS.
