SQLCODE SQL0302N should give hint which parameter is too long.

Scenario: prepared statements
Error: host variable too long
Problem: SQL0302N should give a hint which parameter is affected.

Details:
Using prepared statements with parameter markers such as
INSERT INTO TESTTAB (COL1, COL2) VALUES (?, ?)");
DB2 throws SQN0302N if a value of a host variable does not fit into the DB2 column. SQL0302N on LUW does not give a hint which column is affected (which host variable was too long). SQL0302N on z/OS does.

Example:

PreparedStatement pstmt1 = con.prepareStatement("INSERT INTO TESTTAB (COL1, COL2) VALUES (?, ?)");
pstmt1.setInt(1, 91);
pstmt1.setString(2, "TooLongggggggggggggggggg");

SQL0302N The value of a host variable in the EXECUTE or OPEN statement is out of range for its corresponding use. SQLSTATE=22001

For statements not using parameter markers DB2 throws SQL0433N which is easier to debug:
INSERT INTO TESTTAB (COL1, COL2) VALUES (91, 'TooLongggggggggggggggggg')
SQL0433N Value "TooLongggggggggggggggggg" is too long. SQLSTATE=22001
