use of wildcards for table selection with REORG,RUNSTATS etc

Certain utilities that most of the time operate on a (sub)set of tables like REORG and/or Runstats would be much easier to operate if the set of tables to be processed could be selected by means of wildcarding. The wildcarding should be enabled on the schema level and the tablename to have maximum flexibility.

If you need similar functionality at this moment, you need to write a query with the selection and literals in a query that will generate the statements for you. You can save the output and execute those statements afterwards.
