Help IBM prioritize your ideas and requests

The IBM team may need your help to refine the ideas so they may ask for more information or feedback. The product management team will then decide if they can begin working on your idea. If they can start during the next development cycle, they will put the idea on the priority list. Each team at IBM works on a different schedule, where some ideas can be implemented right away, others may be placed on a different schedule.

Receive notification on the decision

Some ideas can be implemented at IBM, while others may not fit within the development plans for the product. In either case, the team will let you know as soon as possible. In some cases, we may be able to find alternatives for ideas which cannot be implemented in a reasonable time.

Oracle NUMBER being inserted as NULL(RIMS)

PMR extract: CUSTOMER REP : Tapio Vaattanen 905-413-3930 ENVIRONMENT : UDB/Linux v9.7.3 + special_26292 IBM Data movement Tool (IDMT) PROBLEM : SQL3140W loading Oracle data into DB2. Customer expects DB2 to round up the values to load when using DB2_COMPATIBILITY_VECTOR=ORA. Instead DB2 inserts NULL values +LINZER, MATT -DB2FORLUW -L18Z/-------P2S2-11/03/28-16:21 -AT Problem Description: Numbers larger than 37 digits are loaded as nulls Problem Resolution: Talked to load team. This is working as designed, but should be addressed in a DCR since it probably shouldn't work this way.
