DB2 LUW to have option to ignore QUERYNO clause of SQL on DB2 z/OS

The client has many SQL for z/DB2 production environment with QUERYNO clause like the following sample.
   SELECT /* Comment */
           A_ID,
           A_NAME
       FROM
           A_MASTER
       WHERE
           A_ID = :aid
       QUERYNO 1

Currently when this is run on DB2 LUW environment which they use for testing, the SQL results in syntax error and they need to rewrite this SQL without QUERYNO. Therefore, they would like to have option for DB2 LUW to ignore QUERYNO.

Below is the client environment.
Product environment (z/OS)  v10.1.0
Unit Test environment(LUW)  v10.1.0
