MDM - Replace triggers with temporal tables

At Ford we use MDM software to manage our customer base information. MDM talks to DB2 on ZOS to retrieve customer information. MDM uses DB2 triggers to maintain history data. For large UOW transactions triggers have been a performance bottle neck and has a significant impact on CPU and has a significant load on skeleton package table. We are currently thinking of using IDAA and port some of the MDM critical tables to IDAA, but we are afraid if the cost of CDC will outweigh the benefit. We wanted to convert our trigger packages to temporal tables but if we do that we will end up with massive retrofitting effort each time a new MDM release had to be installed at Ford. We would like IBM to enhance MDM using temporal tables for populating history information replacing DB2 triggers. We would like to engage with IBM technical team to discuss this in further
