New message indicating how many rows are deleted in SYSCOPY and SYSLGRNX by MODIFY RECOVERY

Sometimes MODIFY RECOVERY does something although not visible by existing messages. With this enhancement customer can see what was done in the joblog and customer do not need to check SYSCOPY and SYSLGRNX before MODIFY RECOVERY and afterwards to compare the action of MODIFY RECOVERY.

Dear Peter, Thank you for submitting this enhancement request. The Db2 utilities team reviewed it and provided the following feedback:

While this idea is sound for improving serviceability, the development team cannot commit to deliver this nice-to-have improvement within a two years time frame amid other committed deliverables at this time. But the team will keep this idea in mind as a potential improvement when working on other MODIFY RECOVERY enhancements in the future.

We appreciate your input to the Db2 for z/OS development team. And we hope that you will continue to submit enhancement suggestions for improvements as customer feedback is a key component to shaping the future direction of Db2 utilities.

    Sincerely,

    Db2 for z/OS Team
