Dear Peter,
Thank you for submitting your enhancement request for the COPYTOCOPY utility. We
appreciate your valuable feedback and the time you took to share your idea with us.
After careful review, we regret to inform you that it does not align with our current
development priorities for the next 12 months. We understand the benefits of being able
to unload from a sequential image copy created from a FlashCopy image copy by
COPYTOCOPY even when the data is compressed or versioned, and the system pages
are not at the front of the image copy. REORG of the table space prior to the creation of
the FlashCopy image copy (as mentioned in your request) is our recommendation for a
work-around as it allows the data to be unloaded successfully without the
SYSTEMPAGES YES support in COPYTOCOPY.
Your feedback is essential in shaping the future direction of Db2 for z/OS utilities, and we
appreciate your participation in this process. Thank you again for your contribution, and
we look forward to your future suggestions.
Sincerely,
Db2 for z/OS Utilities Team
