Information about index for mapping table in SYSOBJEVENTS is misleading

When doing a REORG TABLESPACE SHRLEVEL CHANGE both the tablespace and all indexes for it is inserted into SYSIBM.SYSOBJEVENTS. That is as it should be. What is also inserted is the namn of the index for the mapping table used. That is not as OK as it looks like that index is also reorged.

I suggest either of these solutions:

  • Du not insert the index for that mapping table

  • Insert the information but mark it in some way so that we can see what it is, for example by using a special OBJTYPE. It might be of value to have the information there
