ELIGIBLE WITH FAILBACK

If customers need FAILBACK capability back to Db2 in case SQL has an issue in accelerator, they currently use ENABLE WITH FAILBACK option. However, the routing criteria of ENABLE option includes cost factors calculated by optimizer. Customers wants to have ELIGIBLE WITH FAILBACK similar to ENABLE WITH FAILBACK that will decide based on only eligibility criteria.

This would be a big help for Wells Fargo. We have an application which submits only complex analytical queries which should always go to IDAA. We want the option however to failback to Db2 if IDAA is unavailable. This option would do that for us and avoid unnecessary Optimizer costing with the ENABLE WITH FAILBACK.
